It is time to plan out our dreams, leap into action learn from experience with an open heart.

You are here because you are truth-seekers, goal-setters, students and teachers, self-improvers, and dream chasers.

Here we committed to the beauty of the written word and the power of writing it out in a story.

There is no such thing as perfect but there is right here and right now, the perfect time to find inspiration, plan, and take a leap of faith.

We help dreamers start taking action.

Plan Your Path and Write Your Story is a journey of self-discovery and achievement.

Planners plus journals are your companions in shaping the future you desire and documenting the experiences that define you.

I believe that every page is a canvas for your thoughts, dreams, and aspirations.

Plan your Path

It all starts with a thought that turns into an idea that with a little bit a time to sit an think will become a goal with actions.

Write Your Story

Filled with wisdom from experiences past and with an open heart and a willing mind, you can heal and write your story.

You’re one decision away from a different life!

Are you a truth-seeker who loves goal-setting and personal development?

Are you on a constant mission to improve your life?

Nice! And you’re not alone!

Planner + Journals came into existence to give you tips and tricks to help you live a more centered, fulfilled, and inspired life.

I’ll be teaching you how to set goals, but more importantly — how to review and achieve them and deal with the messy chaos in-between through journaling.

So who is the face

behind Planners + Journals?

I’m so glad you asked!

I’m Petra Monaco, an artist, creativity coach, partner, an all-boys mom (they are all adults now), and grandparent to four (3 girls, and 1 boy) located in Central Virginia.

I’ve had a lot of ideas in my life and continue to have them and sometimes that can feel overwhelming I discovered that planning and journaling helped me organize my thoughts and ideas.

But more than that, it helped me get to know myself and connect to parts of my story that felt broken so I could take ownership of my own life.

Because at some point in my life, someone told me I couldn’t. I can’t have the cake and eat it too and I need to get my head out of the clouds.

There are the stories we are told and the stories we still get to write. Through journaling you can connect the pieces and heal the parts of you that are ready to have the light placed upon them.

Imagine being able to change your life through planning, taking consistent action, and writing (and sometimes rewriting your story)!
